KnowMyFace uses an AI model trained on a large set of human attractiveness ratings. During training, the model learns visual patterns associated with the beauty scores people gave face photos. When you upload a new image, it estimates how that image aligns with those learned rating patterns.
Because the training targets come from real people’s ratings, the model can capture shared human aesthetic preferences represented in that data. The face score estimates how closely a photo matches visual patterns that people tended to rate as more or less attractive.
This differs from simply adding a symmetry value, nose ratio, and eye ratio. Facial measurements can help explain visible relationships, but the final attractiveness score comes from the learned model rather than a hand-written formula based on a few proportions.
